These scripts run right to left, and your screen orders them automatically, so reversed text can look unexpected. The stored order has still changed.

Your text may be a single long line. Check that it really contains line breaks.

How do I write text backwards?

Choose "All characters". Each line is flipped, so "hello world" becomes "dlrow olleh".

What is the difference between reversing text and word order?

Reversing text flips each letter, while reversing word order keeps words readable and swaps their positions: "good morning" becomes "morning good".

Why do emoji break in other tools?

Many reversers split emoji into their underlying code units, which produces broken symbols. This tool keeps each visible character whole, including skin-tone and flag emoji.

Does it work with several lines?

Reversing text changes the order of letters only. True mirror writing also flips the shape of each letter, which plain text cannot do.
