Quick answer

Choose a PDF, pick 90° clockwise, 90° counterclockwise or 180°, and press Rotate. Leave the pages box empty to rotate them all, or enter pages such as 1, 3-5 for just those. The rotation is saved in the file, so it stays when you reopen it. Only the page direction changes: text and image quality do not.

Common errors and how to fix them

The page turned the wrong way: Run the original again with 90° counterclockwise, or rotate the result by 180°.
A range is outside this PDF: A page number is higher than the page count shown next to the file name.

How do I rotate a PDF and save it?

Rotate it here and download the new file. A viewer's rotate button often only changes the view, while this saves it in the file.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Enter that page number in the pages box. All other pages stay as they are.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. It only changes a setting on each page, so nothing is re-rendered, and the text stays selectable.

Which direction should I rotate?

If the top of the page is on the left, rotate 90° clockwise. If it is on the right, rotate 90° counterclockwise. If upside down, rotate 180°.

Can I rotate pages by different amounts?

Yes, in steps: rotate one set, download, then choose that new file and rotate the other pages.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The file is processed by your own browser and never leaves your device, so it is safe for private documents.

Why are my scanned pages sideways?

The scanner or phone set the wrong direction. Rotate those pages here to fix them.

Can I rotate a protected PDF?

Remove the password first with the Unlock PDF tool, using the password you already know.

Why does my PDF look fine in one app and sideways in another?

Rotation is stored as a setting, and most apps follow it. If one app still shows it wrongly, save a fresh copy here and open that.
